A presentation of the poetic project PLUS MINUS will take place.
PLUS MINUS is a multilingual web archive of minimalist poetry. Poetic minimalism is not just a “movement” — it is an independent way of understanding reality in all its dimensions: from the most subtle, non-human aspects to those of catastrophic scale.
The presentation will open with the project curator, poet Vladimir Koshelev, who will speak about the concept and principles behind the archive.
The event will also feature poet, translator and editor of the almanac Triton and the magazine Vozdukh, Dmitry Kuzmin, who will talk about how the field of poetic minimalism has formed and how it is represented in the Russian-speaking and global context, as well as the role played by Triton, the All-Russian Haiku Competition, and other humanitarian initiatives.
