After several years of pause, Zagareli & Strings (Giorgi Zagareli and a string orchestra) returns to the audience together with Nikala, Nini Nutsubidze, and Anamaria Burduli.

The music for the stage production A Midsummer Night’s Dream
(a co-production by Georgian New Theatre & Royal District Theatre)
was composed by Giorgi Zagareli, Nikala, and Inola Gurgulia.

The production was created for the
Beijing People’s Art Theatre International Drama Festival 2025.

As A Midsummer Night’s Dream has been running to sold-out audiences every month at Royal District Theatre, and following strong audience demand, Giorgi Zagareli decided to perform the music from the production live with friends on the Royal District Theatre stage.

After the concert, vinyl records by Inola Gurgulia will be available for purchase.

Royal District Theater — theater in Tbilisi, located at Gia Abesadze 10, Sololak. The building in which the theater is located was built in 1875 as a synagogue. Masters of Georgian theater such as Temur Chkheidze, Robert Sturua, Goga Tavadze, Dato Sakvarelidze, Tsotne Nakashidze, Maka Makharadze, artists: Muraz Murvanidze, Guga Kotetishvili, Anka Kalatozvili worked and continue to work in this theater. Actors: Iza Gigoshvili, Medea Chakhava, Tamar Skhirtladze, Marlen Egutia, Nata Murvanidze, Nino Burduli, Nika Tavadze, Zaal Chikobava, Levan Kotsiashvili, Eka Chkheidze, Giorgi Nakashidze, Leo Antadze, Malkhaz Abuladze and others. In 2004, a creative workshop was founded in the theater under the leadership of Mr. Temur Chkheidze. The artistic director of the theater (since 2003) is Merab Tavadze.
