A legendary tour to the legendary Samshvilde

On March 29, Geo Megzuri invites you to a special tour to Samshvilde and Pitareti — a journey that will take you back to medieval Georgia.

During the tour we will visit:

  • The former German colony Elisabethal, located in the village of Asureti, including the Lutheran Church (Kirche) in the village

  • Samshvilde Bridge

  • The Samshvilde ancient settlement. If you want to discover what an old Georgian “megapolis” looked like, this is a place you must visit. The site is located on a promontory between the Khrami and Chivchavi canyons, offering breathtaking views of both.

  • Khrami Canyon

  • Kvishi Fortress

  • Khuluti Fortress

  • Pitareti Monastery

Location

Tbilisi
