Day 1 (Journey to the Clouds)

Picturesque Gombori Pass — morning light glides over the hills and vineyards of Kakheti

Ascent via Abano Pass — the highest car road in the Caucasus (2926 m). Breathtaking views and sensations!

Stop at the summit. Enjoy Tushetian herbal tea in a local café — warms the soul

Descend into Tusheti — land of ancient culture, where the road seems to lead through centuries

Village Omalo. Check-in to a cozy guesthouse

Free time — stroll, have dinner, and breathe the air of another Georgia
 

Day 2 (Exploring the Pirikit of Tusheti)

Breakfast at the guesthouse

Excursion to ancient Tushetian villages

Dartlo. Stone houses, defensive towers, wooden balconies. Time stands still here

Journey to Parsma and Girevi — villages in the heart of Pirikit. Stunning views, bridges, old trails, and the quiet power of the mountains

Learn about the lifestyle, sacred places, and legends of Tusheti

Return to Omalo, free evening


Day 3 (Old Towers and the Movie “Mimino”)

Breakfast at the guesthouse

Keselo Fortress with a viewpoint over the entire valley

Journey to Shenako — one of the most picturesque villages of Tusheti

Ancient Church of St. George. Visit the house where the legendary film “Mimino” was shot

End the day in the village Diklo — on the edge of a gorge, with views of the distant slopes of Dagestan

Return to Omalo for dinner and rest


Day 4 (Farewell to Tusheti)

Breakfast at the guesthouse

Departure to Tbilisi — share impressions, photos, and videos from hikes

On the way, pass Abano Pass again — maybe with different weather and a new feeling inside

Arrival in Tbilisi by evening ~ 9:00 PM

Tbilisi is the capital and the largest city of Georgia, lying on the banks of the Kura River with a population of around 1.2 million people. Tbilisi was founded in the fifth century AD by Vakhtang I of Iberia, and since then has served as the capital of various Georgian kingdoms and republics. Because of its location at the crossroads between Europe and Asia, and its proximity to the lucrative Silk Road, throughout history, Tbilisi has been a point of contention among various global powers. To this day, the city's location ensures its position as an important transit route for energy and trade projects. Tbilisi's history is reflected in its architecture, which is a mix of medieval, neoclassical, Beaux Arts, Art Nouveau, Stalinist, and Modern structures. Historically, Tbilisi has been home to people of multiple cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds, though its population is overwhelmingly Eastern Orthodox Christian.
