August 22 (Thursday) 20:00 screening and discussion of the film “Tbilisi Musketeer” by Georgian director Giorgi Chumburidze

In 1858, the famous French writer Alexandre Dumas went to the Caucasus. He outlined his impressions from the trip in the book “Caucasus”. The film “Tbilisi of the Musketeer” tells about Dumas’s journey through Georgia and the period when he lived and stayed in Tbilisi for some time.

With the help of documentary and animated films, the film tells what impressions the famous writer received from Tbilisi, his description of everyday life, a Georgian feast, the Tbilisi Opera House, the sulfur bath, etc.
