Description
The program includes songs by different authors, but united by the common energy of free, free breathing. This is a song split from Bulat Okudzhava to Alexander Gradsky, from Alexander Galich to Mikhail Shcherbakov, from Vladimir Vysotsky to Alexey Ivashchenko. The impetus for this musical and poetic study is the precise lyrical formula of Bulat Okudzhava, not a poet of abstract philosophy, but a lyrical observer of the philosophy of concrete life - such an impulse allows the performer of this program to show the moments of the birth of a verse, the relationship between lyrics and rhythm and the emergence of melody from them. The poetic milestones of the program are the poems of two great Axis - Osip Mandelstam and Joseph Brodsky, and, a kind of musical wedges, songs in German and Gypsy languages
The main thing that unites all the works of the program “As He Breathes, So He Writes” is following the individual author’s rhythm and intuitive poetic breathing - a rare harmony of transparency of syllables and intensity of meanings
