The Last Ones

In the mountainous region of Racha, two medieval Georgian villages have survived — Ghebi and Chiora. Due to the lack of roads, these settlements remain isolated from the rest of Georgia and largely neglected by the authorities.

In search of better opportunities, young people leave the region, while the elderly continue to live under harsh natural conditions, finding meaning and solace in exhausting daily labor and prayer.
