The Kartli Kingdom

"The Kartli Kingdom" is a 2025 feature-length documentary directed by Tamar Kalandadze and Julien Pebrel.

The film portrays the difficult everyday lives of internally displaced people from Abkhazia who have been living in the Kartli Sanatorium for many years. It explores their struggle for basic rights, the uncertainty and hopelessness of prolonged displacement, and their determination to preserve dignity and hope despite their circumstances.
