National Exams

Nana Mgaloblishvili is a Georgian language teacher at the parish school in Chokhatauri. On April 9, during the brutal crackdown on a peaceful demonstration by the Soviet Russian army, she narrowly escaped death but suffered severe poisoning. Her lessons are a continuous search for connections between literature, history, and the present day—where knowledge becomes a warning for the future, and students prepare for national exams.
