Tbilisi State Academy of Arts is an art academy in the city of Tbilisi. The Academy was named after Apollo Kutateladze. The academy has five faculties: fine arts, architecture, restoration and art history, design and media arts. The building was built in the late 1850s of the 19th century. designed by architect Grigory Ivanov. In 1869-1886, an “art circle” was located in this house. The Academy of Arts has been operating in this building since its founding in 1922.
