Description

A drama in one act, based on the story of Egnate Ninoshvili. A wealthy peasant, Jeran Tavridze, on the advice of his uncle and mother, marries the daughter of a poor peasant, Zalika Narishvili. Family relationships are not based on love but on respect for false traditions and violence. Accordingly, Egnate Ninoshvili's story "The misery" is still relevant today.

Tbilisi Municipal Theater named after Sandro Mrevlishvili is located at 19 Rustaveli Ave. It is the successor of the state "Metekhi Theater" (since 2007 - "Globus") founded in 1974. Our repertoire is diverse. The hall can accommodate 40 spectators. This does not limit the interesting spatial view at all. The chamber space and the proximity of the audience and the actors determine the rules of the game: "The actor's art in the palm of the viewer's hand". Art director is Mikheil Mrevlishvili.
